I am sorry to be the bearer of such sad news as our good friend David Garrett passed away at 10.30 last night. All of his family were allowed to visit yesterday.
David and Sandy have been with the club since the beginning, and have been loyal and always present. David was a wise and enthusiastic counsellor at times, and always keen to support us.
During a long and debilitating condition he demonstrated amazing tenacity and strength of character. We will miss David.
On behalf of all our members we send Sandy our love and good wishes, as well as our condolences.
