Nepal Earthquakes Appeal – September 27th

Dear Friends,

May I take this opportunity to thank you all for your support of this Fun Fund Raising venture in aid of the Nepal Earthquakes Appeal.

The Nepalese are a very proud and self-sufficient people with a seemingly inbuilt love of Europeans, especially the British. They now recognise that they need our help after the massive Earthquakes that hit their tiny nation earlier this year and it is therefore very heart-warming to have such a wonderful response from so many friends and well-wishers on the Costa Blanca.

I am hopeful that we may achieve the maximum 70 diners so I would appreciate further requests for tickets.

The Sunday Jazz Lunch will be at the Gran Sol Hotel in Calpe on Sunday 27th September from 1pm with the entertainment supplied by the Hot Dogs Jazz Band and was first muted as an idea for those not wishing to drive home in the dark. From the initial response it appears that this was a very good idea!

The only costs that will be applied to this event will be the cost of the meal and the fee for the Jazz Band. The proceeds will be sent to the Nepal Earthquakes Appeal through the good offices of the Calpe 41 Club and the Rotary Fellowship Clubs of Calpe along with the Rotary Fellowship Club of Costa Blanca North.

I have attached a menu for your attention with your food selection being required by 17th September along with any requests regarding seating.
