Guidance for Voting Delegates The procedure for registering as a voting delegate has been changed for this year, with the introduction of online registration to replace the previous MS Word forms which had to be printed off and signed. The guidance note with all the information is here
Voting Delegates in the Room. Those voting delegates who intend to vote for their club at the AGM in Liverpool should register by clicking here to complete and submit the online form. The data from all the forms submitted will be transferred to a spreadsheet, which will be used to produce a signature sheet for the registration desk.
Pre-registration closes at 09:00 on Wednesday 17th April – 72 hours before the AGM starts. However, it will be possible to turn up on the day without having pre-registered, but you will be asked to complete a registration form and produce a form of ID that can be checked against the list of members on CAS. This will be time-consuming, so you are advised to pre-register.
Voting Delegates Online. Those clubs whose voting delegates cannot attend the meeting in Liverpool will have the opportunity to pre-register, and receive an invitation to the Zoom webinar, plus a link to the Choice Voting application to vote for the preferred Vice President candidate. The link to pre-register is here. The deadline will be 09:00 on Wednesday 17th April. This gives me enough time to collate lists of delegates and send out links before I head off to Liverpool.
Proxy Voting Delegates. If you cannot attend the AGM in Liverpool, you have the option of asking a proxy voter to cast votes on your club’s behalf. It will be down to your club to find your proxy voter and register him to vote for your club. The link to the registration form is here: The deadline will be 09:00 on Wednesday 17thApril. In accordance with the Rules of 41 Club, that deadline is set in stone. No proxy voter who has not been registered by the deadline can vote in the meeting.
Finding the AGM Venue. The Holiday Inn Liverpool City Centre is in Lime Street, directly opposite the mainline station. The meeting room is on the second floor of the hotel. More information on the venue is here
Watching the Live Stream As last year, those members who are not voting delegates will be able to watch the AGM on the livestream. There will be a YouTube stream being set up by the AV company. Watch out for a further message, with a link to the live stream when this has been set up.
