What a night! After 3 years of patiently waiting, Chairman Stuart was finally able to lead the celebrations of the anniversary of the chartering of the club. He also marked the end if a challenging, but successful extended 2 year term as chairman through Covid.

Sadly Stuart’s dear wife Ann is in hospital, following a fall. So she was unable to be by his side, as she obviously wished. We sent her love and good wishes.

We all had a most enjoyable evening. As always Patrick and the team at Puerto Blanco did a wonderful job – great food, great service, and, of course in the best setting.

And as a part of the event National President, Jim Conway, in a punchy and amusing address also installed our incoming chairman, Peter. The chain of office was passed on.

After the brief formalities we then danced until midnight to the excellent duo “Sugar Shack”.

A wonderful evening of fun and fellowship.
