Dear Members,
This message is to remind you to join us this Wednesday, 11th August, for our (rescheduled due to the Euros Semi Final) Zoom Meeting with Cliff Crown, the Chairman of Brentford FC, which was promoted to the Premier League for the coming season. This talk isn’t just for fans of the round ball, nor even sports fans in general, as Cliff is responsible for the business side of the club as much as the football side. The bottom line is it should be a very interesting talk and I hope you will be able to join us for it.

In the spirit of Adopt, Adapt, Improve, we are aiming to make greater use of break out rooms in this meeting so instead of you joining to a cacophonous start with >100 members and non-members chatting at once, we aim to admit you into smaller rooms with a limited number of other members similar to a face to face meeting so that you can get to know one another and chat amongst some friendly faces. This has worked well on the Wine Club wine tastings and on the Whisky Tastings, so we hope it will work well here too.
