I have just heard from Carol that Ian passed away in Denia hospital earlier today. At his request there will be no funeral. As Carol says, “He just wanted to be cremated without any fuss.”

Ian was the founder of the Calpe and District 41 Club, and kept us on the straight and narrow. His enthusiasm is a major factor in our success. We owe Ian a great deal. And, without a doubt, Carol’s patience in supporting Ian’s activities on behalf of the club helped him to establish what we have become.

Ian will be missed. Rest in peace, Ian.
