Dear friends,
I am organising the annual fund-raiser this year to benefit the Local Fire Brigades who, by all accounts, did a sterling job extinguishing the recent forest fires in Javea and neighbouring areas. They lost an extraordinary amount of equipment and numerous organisations are (or already have) donated funds for the replacement of that equipment. To this end the Rotary Fellowship Club of Costa Blanca North will donate any profits from the event on behalf of the event.
The event is due to take place on Sunday 30th October from 1.30pm at the ‘International Restaurant’ on the La Fossa promenade in Calpe which is close to the Esmeralda Hotel. The entertainment will be a Base Saxophonist who plays ‘Easy Listening’ and ‘Swing’ music with a taped accompaniment. A truly delightful entertainer ideal for the occasion. The menu will be the usual Al a Carte menu offered by the restaurant + a donation of 5€ per person.
The restaurant benefits from a glazed outlook directly overlooking the promenade.
I would be most grateful if you would advise me if you intend to join the party so that seats can be reserved on tables of 4 (or multiples of 4).
I can assure you of a lovely afternoon designed to suit all pockets and in keeping with the ideals of all the service organisations that I hope will support the event.
