Friday 41er – May Edition

Welcome to my first newsletter as your new National Comms & Community Officer.

Before you all switch off and stop reading, there’s one question I’ve been asked almost every day since taking over at the AGM, so let’s get that sorted first; To gain access to the members area of the website you need to add a username and password, and this is a universal username which is: 41Club  (this is case sensitive), and the password is: friendship

Now, on to the newsletter, which will now be called the Friday 41er and sent on the last Friday of each month. Thank you to my predecessor Dave Chard and his team for the work they did with previous newsletters, I know a lot of work went in. The newsletters will be slightly different now. Rather than sending a PDF full of adverts, which isn’t efficient to read through, uses up memory space on your device, and believe it or not has a small environmental impact using more energy on servers, the newsletter will be published online and the link to read it is below. Clicking the below link is easier than opening a file and doesn’t need to be downloaded. You’ll see that the newsletter is also full of links, to the news articles, member offers, events, and while you’re there you can have a look around the website at everything that’s going on in the 41 Clubs around the country. So keep an eye out for all the links in the words of the newsletter that take you to each article or event.
