We have just received the following update from Stuart –

Just arrived back home from the Brompton Hospital after having a private consultation with the cardiac surgeon who is going to operate on me
She has said that my heart is only pumping at 20% and one of my valves is in very bad condition another is getting worse and I need a bypass
I am now on her waiting list as an urgent case and I should be operated as soon as possible definitely before Christmas
Ann should be able to stay a couple of days in a visitors room at the hospital when I have the operation
