Health updates

Our fabulous Charter Chairman Stuart is still suffering with his heart problems. He tells me, “Not feeling good I am breathless a lot of the time so I have to just sit still most of the time
I have received an appointment from the hospital for a Cardioversion Procedure that is a small electric shock to the heart so that it starts to beat in a normal rhythm again this should help reduce the breathlessness
I am still waiting for the appointment for the heart surgery.”

And Marie, the lovely wife of Max, our founder member, who is regrettably no longer with us, is undergoing invasive cancer treatment. She updated Keith and Paula Beaman yesterday, “It has been a long hot few months . But hopefully it’s cooling down now, we had a storm this morning, it was lovely hale stones like golf balls bouncing round the terrace, but it is cooler now. I have had 4 treatments of immunatherapy &. Chemo, it seems to be working, up to now I haven’t had any after after.effects, I also have injections, it’s only for 4 days & I can do it myself , the oncologist was very pleased with my blood last week so she wants me to have an MRI Scan to see how things are. I go on the 14 September.”

I know that you will all join us in wishing Stuart and Marie recovery and strength.

In continued friendship,

Andrew
