Dear friends

Sad to report, our chairman, Peter, has decided to resign, for personal reasons.

As you would expect we have had several conversations with him. It is clear that he has thought this through long and hard. The committee have had to accept his decision.

We thank him for his contributions to the club during his service, and he is well aware that we wish him and Sandra well and hope to see them in the future.

The club will continue. Stuart and Malcolm are working with Tony to take things forward and Stuart will organise and host our Charter Anniversary celebration on May 4^th (more details next month). We will elect our officers at the AGM, which we currently propose to hold on Wednesday, May 3rd.

Our next meeting is on Thursday February 9^th. If you are here we hope that you will attend.
